Mudface is a San Francisco based metal band creating tremors in the metal world. Their hard pounding music motivates you to put your fist up in defiance with their crushing, in-your-face metal madness. The band leaves you wanting more long after the last song resonates through your chest. In short, mudface delivers metal that rocks!With a passion for quality songwriting and ample energy to burn, mudface promises an energetic and memorable live performance each and every time they hit the stage. Fiercely attacking the Bay Area metal scene, they are garnering a strong local following and sharing the stage with many respected metal bands, such as Death Angel, Testament, Overkill, Exodus, Laaz Rockitt, Re-ignition and Hirax. They have performed at SF Bay Area events such as the X Games and Metallicas Summer Sanitarium Pre-Show.Vocalist, Chris Dinsmore and guitarist, Ted Aguilar (Death Angel) planted the seeds for mudface back in 1999 when they formed the band then known as SIFT. The objective was to create music that was heavy and brooding yet dynamic and dare we say, strangely beautiful at times. Rounding out the band with their unique blend of musicianship, Rich Pia (guitar: Manipulant), Mike Carlington (drums: Destroyer, Red Ghetto Sun) and Ron Pitchford (bass: Kevel) have helped to create the band they truly believe in and which deserves to be heardRecently, the band completed a four-song demo at Zilla Studios in California. This, their fourth recording, no doubt will build their following and attract industry attention. mudface will be playing shows to support this new recording as well as continuing their songwriting. Plans to record an album are on the near horizon.The ultimate goal for mudface is this: To replace the posters of other rock stars on our walls with our own!Death to Mediocrity
