PRE SALE TIX AVAL. 4 THE OTEP SHOW MAY 11TH!!

About Me

SynSystem began a year ago when vocalist Joe Lopez and guitarist David Nollette began writing music in a cramped weight room on the second floor of Nollette's house. The group would be complete two months later when bassist Yev Kandybenko and drummer Adam Prentice sat in on a late night practice session. The four quickly assessed their options and purchased a rehearsal space that provided enough space for the amps, drums, and head banging. Six months later, the group had a flurry of blood pumping, gut wrenching tracks and were still without a name. Putting their heads together, Adam, David, Yev, and Joe could only conclude one idea: that this was the dawning of a new musical feeling that required a name that would make you bite your lip and rejoice... they called themselves "SynSystem". a mix of nu-metal, hard rock, and some southern love would complete the list of familiar rock genres. The only philosophy that this band can agree on is that when "we first set out to create music, we aimed to bring the aggression forward and the roof down." As the lights die out, and the door creaks closed, "the system" was born.
if you havent had a chance to catch us live!!! hopefully this will turn your decision inside out!!!
Dr. Pete Venkmans Band Review - Synsystem and Jenna Jameson
Synsystem is a raw, energetic band (that is such an understatement! Almost like saying that Jenna Jameson is slightly outgoing) that is seriously bringing the roof down on the Sacramento/NorCal scene right now. They are blowing up at a pace that rivals the my Tijuana experience Freshman year of college that included a 56 year-old Mexican man, a whistle and a jug of Tequila…no joke! (Ask me about that later)Speaking of which, Synsystem's live show is no joke. I keep getting the word from numerous people out and about the Nor Cal music scene that Synsystem has one of the best, most energetic and entertaining live shows around. So much so, that they are one of the rare bands that sound better live than recorded. The entire band is tight, dynamic and talented. I am particularly impressed by their bass and drum rhythm combo Adam and Yev – they provide more glue than 150 horses in line at the slaughterhouse. Just listen to "Crucified" and you will immediately catch on.Vocalist Joe Lopez and guitarist David Nollette put the exclamation point on this four-some. Lopez is this off-brand, pseudo-screamer that punches out some amazing melodies and can really carry a song. Nollette throws out vicious riffs and serious crunch – his guitar work is superb and lays neatly over the neat bed provided by the bass and drums.
