Influences: My musical influences are as eclectic as the cats I work with. Cats like the late Godfather of soul, James Brown, The Detroit Spinners, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Jethro Tull, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Dr. Dre, E40 and the Click, 2 Short, Definately Big Daddy Kane and the whole Juice Crew Marley Marl, Handel, Mozart, Grieg, J.S. Bach, Van Halen (both with David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar) Tom Petty, Outlandish, Pharrell Williams, Prince, Jazzy Pha, Berry Gordy, Jay Z, oh by the way if jigga ain't yo cup of tea it don't matter LOOK at what he's done for the industry!!!! Hell we could be here for a minute....... All these peeps have a varied and different type of influence, as they've all in one way or another become a part of MY hip hop!!!!!!! Hiphop is not just a genre of music; its a culture, a way of life. Some of my influences inspire me lyrically, some musically, and thers just make me want to do better all around. Some of these very people epitomize the phrase "for the sheer fuckoffedness of it all". However the one thang they all got in common, iz Style. They all got style!!!!! Style and class are two completely different things, and nobody is sayin that they all got class. But style? Man they all got that shit in spades. HELL, I think that half the time they just turn on the style for shits and giggles most of the time!!!! STYLE, thats what influences me most, i guess. Er'body got they own, but its the exceptional style that puts me in that zone!!!
