Nothing replaces a college experience. High school was cool – or wretched as was the case for some. But the entry into collegiate independence is the stuff of memories that not even your online photo album can fully capture.
But HYGRADE Magazine will certainly cover it all...
Philosophical debates…falling in love 20 times in the first week of each semester…Miami spring breaks on a shoestring budget…starting your weekend on Wednesday…early morning classes after hangover-inducing nights…homecoming games…rolling in groups of 8 or more from the cafeteria to the club and everywhere in between…pledging the fraternity or sorority that reps you – and you rep – the best…churning out stellar all-nighter papers hopped up on Red Bull and goodness knows what else… HYGRADE is on it.
And of course there's the "finding yourself"' process. Whether you are stepping foot on campus for the first time, getting a taste of a potential career through an internship or deciding what to do once you have your diploma in hand – HYGRADE has you covered.
Dabbling in student organizations, events and teams as varied as student government, fashion shows or the basketball team helps shape who you are and will be both personally and professionally. It's an empowering feeling. Think about it: you're laying the foundation for your legacy.
And HYGRADE is beginning ours. Founded in 2004 by Howard University graduates, this multicultural college quarterly magazine will help you tackle the ups and downs of college life while delivering news and features on entertainment, fashion, politics, business, arts, culture and of course enterprising students and alumni in a highly stylized package. We're just as into indies and upstarts like Chrisette Michele, Max Sansing and Thakoon as we are intrepid marquee names such as T.I., Basquiat and Gucci.
