--Jacek Matysiok was born May 28, 1973 in Chorzow where he resides to this
Day,and the nickname Matys was given to him in kindergarten.
Music was his companion from the early years, organizing small school
events was the start to completing his dreams, which in time became his passion.
His first steps as a DJ he made in small local clubs at the side of his
more experienced friends, which led him to become a resident DJ at a nightclub
"Galeria" That's when everything in his life changed.
By inviting DJ Marc Van Linden to Poland, he didn't realize that he didn't
only invite a dj, but also a producer and a person who will soon change
everything in his career.
This acquaintance soon changed to be a friendship as well as a close
working relationship.
The first combined production and Matys first major hit "Orgasm" was
released. The following albums were even a bigger success and hit.
The proof of that was "Am 2 Pm" on Midway rec. & Alphabetcity which
made it to the play lists of the biggest DJs in the world. That's exactly what
opened the door for Matys following successes.
He plays and performs in the biggest parties all over the Europe as well
as Asia.
Working together with Krzysztof Chochlewem, makes rmx for DJ Seb B - Mass Noise, who also shares popularity in Europe.
Currently DJ Matys is on top of the Polish DJs.
When asked, Jacek confesses that he's happy that he does what he loves to
do most, and looking back at the time, he didn't event think all of this
would become a reality.
