About N I O N
The Band NION was founded in the year 2004 by the the female singer Marzena and the guitarist Siggi Schüßler.
After recording the 4-track EP "Witches Rune" togehter with drummer Marc (ex- Beyond Serenity) and former keyboarder Sven, NION decided to rehearse all the material, because there are still a lot of songs left. The bass-player Torsten Peeß joined the band (ex- Horus) and they have asked the german shredder Kai Stringer to complete the guitar- section, because two shredders are better than one...
The music of NION is very unique, because you have a magical female voice AND musicans who know to play. It ist an mixture between Gothic, Shred, Power and Symphonic metal. You can call it like you want - we call it "Gothic Power- Shred"
Now, NION have released their first EP "Witches Rune"!
