Based in Las Vegas, Leena has been a seriously playful teacher and practitioner of yoga, Buddhism, philosophy, Thai Yoga Massage and meditation since 1995. She was initiated into Nicherin Shoshu Buddhism in the early 90's and studied and practiced their teachings for ten years. As well, she studied and has certificates in Pilates, Psychology and Modern Dance.
Known for her clear and precise teaching style that fuses body awareness, alignment and a joyful spirit with wisdom from the heart, Leena lives her yoga, walks the talk and truly shines at helping others to soar. She draws inspiration from a vast range of disciplines to lovingly and respectfully guide each person towards discovering their own inner truth. Her gift lies in her ability to faciliate spiritual awakening and growth in her clients while cultivating in them a strong sense of self empowerment. With her guidance, students have deepened their knowledge of the self, which gives them more choice. This choice leads to personal freedom and freedom, she believes, is what living yoga is all about.

She has taught her Living Yoga techniques and meditations to people from various walks of life from world class athletes/dancers, muai thai fighter "JT" Williams and celebrity supermodel and actress Jaime(James) King to major corporations such as iGate and Moondance Entertainment. She has traveled around the US, Canada and Western Europe as personal yoga teacher to internationally renowned singer Celine Dion, as well as coaching the 48 artistes of A New Day... Leena has served as yoga consultant for The Beatles "LOVE" by Cirque du Soleil and a guest teacher for the cast of Franco Dragone's "Le Reve". She has written for several in print and online publications and is on the advisory board as yoga expert for Healthy Las Vegas. She is also a skilled Thai Yoga Massage practitioner.
