About Me

The stoner punk n' roll trio Navajo Code Talkers (2002 - 2005) was about to go to SXSW when a series of bizarre events led to its death in December 2005. After taking a short break to think things through, the leader of the deceased band decided she wasn't ready to quit rocking just yet and started working on her solo career. Due to a spectacular stage accident that happened in NYC in the summer of 05, Tara Lee had a knee surgery which prevented her from going back on stage before spring of 2007....... Tara Lee Combs likes a good dose of alternative, stoner rock, classic rock and soul, with just a hint of pop and country. With the help of drummer Denis Jr. Richard (BAM) and guitarist Marc "Blaze D." Desjarlais, she recorded her first full length record, Whether We Shall Repel, which was launched September 21st 2007. Denis and Tara and presently on the road with a new guitarist, Simon Trépanier, to promote the CD! Are you ready? www.sonicbids.com/taraleecombs
