Español ¿Quién soy?
Soy una cantante de las Islas Canarias que lleva bastante tiempo (ya se me olvidó cuánto)en esto de la música y que ha colaborado con muchos músicos del Archipiélago y de fuera deél, tanto en grabaciones como en conciertos.
¿Qué hago?
Pues es muy simple: canto canciones. No soy partidaria de definirme dentro de un estilo concreto.
Canto mis propias canciones, Blues, Funky, Soul, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Boleros,Tangos, FolÃas... Pero eso sÃ, todo con ese aire que dejan los años de experiencia y mipropia personalidad (casi la misma cosa).
A mis canciones las riegan las cosas que me pasan. Hablan de ciudades, de amor, dedecepciones, de luchas, de sueños,...de todo lo que a ti también te ha ocurrido algunavez, supongo.
¿Qué quiero?
Cantar, que me escuchen, poder interpretar las canciones que me gusten en muchos sitios delmundo, (y de otros mundos si pagan bien ;-) y casi que crear una "Asociación Pro-Igualdadde Oportunidades para la Música" que defienda el derecho a ser escuchados sin depender delos millones de una discográfica, que ponga etiquetas a lo que hacemos e intente unificarcriterios diferentes bajo la bandera de "COMERCIAL".
Agunas de las canciones que se pueden escuchar en mi myspace, pertenecen a mi primer disco "Rompiendo el silencio" que contó con la colaboración de Richard Bona y fue producido por Kike Perdomo.
English Who am I?
I´m a singer from the Canary Islands who has been involved in this "music business" forquite a long time (I've almost forgotten how long), and who has worked with many canarianand non-canarian musicians, both in recordings and concerts.
What do I do?
It's really quite simple: I sing songs. I'm not fond of defining myself within a specific style.
I sing my own songs, blues, funk, soul, rock, pop, jazz, bolero, tango, folÃas...But always with that "feel" that comes from my years of experience and my own personality(almost the same thing)
My songs are watered by the things that occur to me. They speak of cities, of love, ofdisappointments, of struggles, of dreams... of all those things that have also happened toyou at some point, I guess.
What do I want?
To sing, to be listened to, to be able to interpret the songs that I like around the world(and other worlds too, if they pay good money ;-) and I am almost tempted to form a"Pro-Equality of Oportunities for Music Association" to protect the right to be heardwithout depending on economic support from record companies that try to label what we doand unify different criteria under the banner of "COMMERCIAL"
The songs in my profile are all included in my cd "Rompiendo el silencio" in which I had the fortune to count on Richard Bona´s collaboration and which was produced by Kike Perdomo.
