I’m a Universal (Sonet) performing artist (jazz/pop singer & pianist) and Warner/Chappell songwriter. I have released 7 albums – and I’m releasing a new album February 5th 2007.
My new album is (like the latest ’Don’t be cool!’) – produced by my friend & colleage Chris Minh Doky (bassist from Copenhagen/New York). It also features Adam Rogers (guitarist from New York, USA), Kasper Villaume (pianist from Copenhagen, DK) and Anders Mogensen (drummer from Odense, DK). I’m really excited and happy about the album and I’m looking forward to release it!
Besides my music I own the film company So What Film. We produce, sell & distribute jazz DVD’s – concerts and masterclasses. We also produce music videos for EMI, Universal, Stunt Records etc.
My second company is called Maiken & Co and is a webdesign & album artwork compagny.
For me it’s not so important what kind of art I’m making (music, film, design) – I just love expressing myself in all kinds of different ways, and contribute with great products – especially for the jazz market.
