About Me

I am a Bay Area music festival that hosts anarchist and radical musicians once a year.

I've already happened twice, once at Balazo Gallery in the Mission (05) and once at the Edinburgh Castle in the T.L. (06).

I have hosted the following acts/artists : Filastine, DJ Malatesta, Drowning Dog, 187, Emcee Lynx, Kid Kameleon, Folk This, Nate Mezmer, DJ Manny Black, and many others. I have donated to the Kate Sharpley Anarchist Library twice. I host tables of anarchist media from AK Press, Kate Sharpley Library and others.

The festival was originally initiated by the Entartete Kunst collective (www.entartetekunst.info) with help from Sunny Anarchy.

I am interested in meeting anarchist promoters, soundtechs, propagandists, musicians, venues that are down, vj's and graphic artists who are prepared to make the next one even better.

WHY THE 3RD ANARCHIST MUSIC FEST HAS BEEN CANCELLED !

Balazo have been told by the state (March 14th) that they cannot host live music until further notice, Balazo Gallery is still open !! But cannot host live music. We the A.M.F. collective are very sad...
