Jan, 2000 Sqid was initially formed by Higo(Vo/B), Funato(Dr.), and Kizawa(Gu). At this point, their sound was more like “Modern Heavy Rock”, typified by PANTERA or MACHINE HEAD etc. However, as they kept playing, they started get dissatisfied by their own sound. They wanted something different than those “Modern Heavy Rock” band, which countless ones existed around that time. To make it sound different, they add some more speed to the songs. That made the foundation of their sound now; thrash metal-based solid heavy rock with a lot of 2 beat rhythm.   Nov, 2001 The first recording was done as sqid. It took only 2 days to record, mix and mastering the 6 songs. This became their first mini-album, “The Complete Anger”, released in Feb, 2002.Oct, 2002 The first tour out of Tokyo was took place, with the band called “Word of Right”. Besides to this tour, they kept throwing their shows 2 or 3 times a month. And finally the “The Complete Anger” was discovered by metal-fanzines like “KABBALA” and “Payer” to be reviewed. Dec, 2003 Kizawa left the band in Dec. 2003, Kensuke was joined Sqid as the bassist. Accordingly, Higo took the guitar instead of bass. Jul, 2005 ”PROMO2005”, the domo recording of 3 songs, was made and sold. They also planning to record their first album.As they keep touring around Tokyo,
