"monk beat" is a new born art project from the orient which is produced by YASU who's been working as a recording engineer in Japan and sometimes in NYC.
We are also running our label called "monk beat records".
"monk beat" is the space. it doesn't have its own sound.
it's the place where many kinds of spirits get together and expless vibes of soul.
We've been exchanging LOVE with many kinds of artists.
A multi instruments player KOHKI is one of the partner in musically.
And sometimes with a "Noh" dancer, "Ga-gaku" orchestra, modern ballet dancers, Taiko players, and real monks.......
These collaborations bear fruit every year on "juugoya-no-utage(Full Moon Party)" which's been holding scince 2004 as a music festival in Nara,Japan.
