Smart suits and winkle pickers.... thats New-Wave of old.
Sitha are a breath of fresh air.
Sounds that resemble a mini guerilla attack on a smaller, less-wealthy, 'new wave' village emanate from this japanese band.
For its their volume, speed and resonance that elevate them above the rest.
Formed from the ashes of an electronic synth band of old,
Sitha have gone on to make music with a flick of the wrist.â€
Guitarist Satoshi Yorimoto thrashes his references to Bauhaus and Wire left and right.
Bassist Yoko Kaixuka looks graceful and elegant yet sounds like thunder.â€
Drummer Masashi Tabei is a master of 'The Mecca Effect'; tight, precise, with the ability to always improvise....
and finally master of electronic ceremonies, the mighty Takao Koma melts and solidifies the ebb-and-flow of the Sitha sound from his computer.
The mighty Sitha are the sound of a now, it's just that know one knows this yet.
Make way for the sound of a new kind of wave altogether.
