The Weapons have left the building.

About Me

THE WEAPONS LAST STAND!
Unfortunately for you lovely people we've decided to bring the curtain down on The Weapons.
Its been fun, we've made some friends and probably more enemies but the time is right to end the band.
BUT we'll be playing our last gig on Thursday the 15th at our spiritual home of Nambucca on Holloway Road.
We're headlining and we've got some great support acts with our good friend Mark Matthews and our brothers in animal & numbskull-like behaviour The Supernovas (check them both out on our top friends).
Its bound to be a very messy night so make sure you don't miss it, mine's a pint. The Weapons xxx

UPDATE!!!!
Yep another reminder about our last gig this week but also that it will be a party so make sure you're there. Balloons, party poppers, vodka jellies, projections, face-painting (if you want you're face painted with biro) and much more!

THE LAST GIG!

GARY CROWLEY BBC LONDON RADIO!

"They proudly present themselves as "Animals and numbskulls"! And who are we to argue? With a rowdy rabble like this lot, you'd be wise to buckle up for the ride...
Upbeat guitar band The Weapons formed in August 2006 with members David McSherry, Stevie Allen and Luke West and Johnny Lewis. All based in north London, the four-piece decided it would be a good idea to play their first gig north of the Thames, too ... how about Scotland?! Travelling to Glasgow's Barfly for their debut gig was, say the band, one of their best moments to date, with much crowd-surfing, chanting and (we suspect) gnashing of teeth.
These days they tend to play a bit closer to home, but having started as they meant to go on, they don't hold back with a London crowd either.
Taking influences from the Jam to the Cooper Temple Clause, The Weapons have even threatened to unleash their own version of James Brown's Get Up on an unsuspecting public.
Clattering guitar heroes of London, they've already earned their spot as Record of the Week holders in the Camden New Journal. Nice!Check out the demo we featured on London Calling, What You Don't Know You Don't Miss!"
