I am here for Friends

About Me

I originally decided to sign up to myspace after I was diagnosed, for the second time, with Hodgkin's Lymphoma (Spring/Summer '06). I had to spend weeks in the hospital to receive chemo and then a bone marrow transplant, and I figured myspace would be an enjoyable way to spend both the recovery time in the hospital, and at home. I was in isolation for the transplant and this seemed like a good venue to possibly talk with other cancer survivors, as well as meet new interesting people. However, I was WAY too sick to use the computer. Anyway, now I am home recovering and able to enjoy the computer again. When I am well I enjoy outdoor activities such as kayaking, camping and hiking. I also am very much into music and my favorite is rockabilly (psychobilly, especially!!). However, I like everything from hardcore punk to oldies. I have a dark sense of humor so I try to find music and things to read that include it. I also love concerts and comedy shows such as Kathy Griffin, Wanda Sykes, Dave Attell, Patton Oswalt, Carlos Mencia, and other smart, yet sarcastic comics. As of May- I returned to work, after being out for almost a year, and it feels good to have a "regular" life again. Go, me! :) Free Dark creepy layouts at DarkestPoint.com
