New people and maybe some old friends. Of course, current friends are always nice too.
I enjoy a pretty eclectic mix of music, but some of my favorites include: Duran Duran, The Smiths, dc talk, Kevin McKrell, the Cranberries, Queen, Phil Collins, Scorpions, Enter the Haggis, The Fenians, Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Third Day, The Bee Gees and Elton John, among others. I love 80's pop music, especially of the British variety,70's rock and disco and the surfin' sounds of the 60's. BRING ON SEPTEMBER!

I like all kinds of movies....except horror. I really like action/adventure films and enjoy romantic comedies. Some of my all-time faves are: Ever After, Braveheart, On the Waterfront, Lord of the Rings, Erik the Viking, Princess Bride, Pretty in Pink, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, On The Town, Brigadoon, Soapdish, Better Off Dead, Grosse Point Blank, Tomb Raider, Planet of the Apes (the original, of course), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (made me cry), The Kid, Pirates of the Carribbean, Kingdom of Heaven, One Night With the King, Cinderella (Disney) and Sleeping Beauty (also Disney). Oh yeah, and Muppet Treasure Island...."We put the RAT in piRATe". lol

OK...most of my friends will tell you that I don't watch TV. I do enjoy it once in awhile, and when I do, it's usually NCIS, CSI:NY or Without A Trace. I think reality TV is stupid, but I like a well concieved game show.
I love to read and go through bouts of voracious reading! Some of my faves are: The Pendragon Cycle (especially MERLIN) and The Paradise War series by Stephen R. Lawhead, The Kensington Chronicles by Lori Wick, and The Scottish Crown series by Carol Umberger, and The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. Then there's the magic of the Harry Potter series, which is wonderful. I also enjoy re-reading the classics we were supposed to read in high school like Farenheit 451, Brave New World, The Hobbit and War of the Worlds. And in case you're wondering, my favorite books of the bible are: Ruth, Esther, Genesis, John and Matthew. So, go read a book!!!
