SLUG is a Metal band hailing from Skovde - SWEDEN. Influences of the band are both the seventies Zeppelin/Sabbath as well as the ninties Pantera, Slayer and BLS. The band has a classic "5 piece" setting concisting of: Twin guitars, bass, drums and vocals - A raw and massive sound with squeling guitars and a tight rhythm section - an experience beyond the usual. SLUG was formed during the winter of 2004, since then the band has released 2 promo EPs 1 full length CD and they have also represented Sweden on a 17-band compliation CD released in the USA. The band has also contributed with a track to the Belgian death metal compilation: "Poetry of the Dead - volume one". The main reason for the bands existence (acc. to themselves) is:"They say metal is dead but we will keep that f**ker alive!".
