RIP ESBJORN SVENSSON.
Disclaimer: Music is best enjoyed LOUD!!
Something to do with the way our ear and brain intake and process sound..
This is especially true with all the music on this page.

The Aviram Gottfried Quartet was founded by Pianist Aviram Gottfried for the purpose of playing original compositions ranging in style from Jazz to Modern Classical music, electronic, Blues and Progressive Rock (sometimes in the same song!).
The Quartet has preformed in all of the hottest venues in Israel, including the prestigious international "Red Sea Jazz Festival".
In live concert the Aviram Gottfried Quartet delivers a searingly energetic show, taking the listener on a journey through jagged rock sound, haunting classical inspired melodies, heavy hitting blues, and everything in between.
The Band members are of the best young musicians Israel has to offer:
Ishai Mordechai on bass
Born in 1979, Ishai is a musical leader or the first degree. He composes and improvises new music tirelessly and constantly.
Ishai's technique is flawless, and his control over his vintage Jazzbass is so complete that he has been often referred to as a "1 man Jam Band".
Ishai's energy is such that he doesn't play much in jazz groups, but rather blues and rock groups where the volume knob is turned way up and you dance as you play. just so
Other than the tremendous musical energy, Ishai contributes to the Quartet both his original compositions and his approach to arranging, which can be summed up as "make everything groovy".
Boris Rasinsky on Drums
Born in 1980, Boris is a musician.
That is to say, he is not just a drummer. In fact, he's been a classical pianist longer than he's been a drummer.
Boris composes music that falls somewhere between jazz, classical music and pop, and plays drums in groups ranging from straight-ahead jazz, R&B, progressive rock and is an invaluable asset ito any group he plays in, due to his inherent and studied musicianship.
Boris also plays on drums of his own invention and construction;
He enjoys retrofitting tam-tams to make snares, cutting snares in half horizontally and re-skinning them, and so on and so forth, in search of the perfect drum sounds for whichever production and musical style he's into at a particular time.
Yoav Katzir on Guitar
Yoav Katzir, born in 1968, is like all members of the Aviram Gottfried Quartet, a 'musical-style-collector' kind of musician.
He preforms almost daily with an Irish music ensemble, has composed music for films and plays and is possessed of a fast-and-furious guitar technique and sound that resemble an overly-melodic cross between John Scofield and the great Allan Holdsworth.
His compositions are basically "Songs".
They are complete, masterfully written stories from start to finish.
Yoav just had a new baby, his third child and first son. Congrats Yoav!!!
Aviram Gottfried on Piano Aviram Gottfried, born in 1983, is a self-taught pianist, founder of the Quartet and a trained pastry chef.
Aviram likes to incorporate many musical styles and disjointed elements into single continuous compositions, take short solos, and generally keep ideas fresh
Aviram is son of prominent israeli jazz pianist and educator Dan Gottfried and brother to maestro Yaron Gottfried .

Song details:
"The Dancer" by Aviram Gottfried
"Cascades" by Yoav Katzir
"Most Blues" by Aviram Gottfried
"Saturday" by Aviram Gottfried
On "Most Blues" and "Saturday" Ishai does not play bass, but rather our previous bass player "Guy Bar-Tor", who is simply fantastic
All songs belong by copyright to their respective composers
Also note that MySpace's streaming format takes already low-fidelity MP3s and tortures them to a ridiculous new degree in general, but especially in songs "Saturday" and "Dancer", which are mastered at high volume, because, lets face it, good music should always be loud.
