Noa

Noa was born 1982 in Jerusalem, Israel. From the age of 5 Noa was dancing and performing on stage, stared in Musicals, choirs and dancing groups. At the age of 10 Noa started taking lessons on flute and guitar. By the age of 16 her passion for singing grew very strong, and a unique sound had began to form. By that time Noa was performing at well-known places in Jerusalem including “the yellow submarine” and “mike’s place”. At the age of 18 Noa joined the Israeli army (mandatory) for 2 years. After the service she went to study music at “Rimon school of Jazz and contemporary music” majoring in Jazz performance. She began her vocal studies with Shifra Peretz, a well-known performer and vocal teacher. Liking Noa’s voice Shifra asked her to sing back up vocals in her (Morocan-pop-jazz) concerts. At the age of 22 Noa joined the Hip-Hop group “Live Audio Sound” and was a lead singer. They performed at clubs and venues all over the country as well as music festivals and underground parties. During that time Noa was no stranger to studio work, recording demos and commercials along side singing in GB bands. At the age of 23 after taking a year off, Noa traveled to India to explore music. Ending up performing along side of many great musicians all over India. When returning Noa attended Berklee College of Music for one year, then moved to LA to peruse her passion under the west coast atmosphere.Living in Israel brought a very diverse influence to Noa’s voice.
