Matthew Crowning is one of the leading drummers in pop, jazz and R&B in South Florida today. He has recorded and toured with many up coming artists such as Kerrie Roberts, Alex Bach and Kyle Cook (Matchbox 20) and is one of the most sought after live and studio musicians in the area. His drumming encompasses a wide range of influences from Dave Weckl and Carter Beauford to Peter Erskine. From the age of 15 Crowning broke out into the realm of professional music, melding his influences and experiences into a unique, driving and unmistakable style.
Having recently completed his degree in Jazz Studies at Florida Atlantic University, Crowning now has the time to perform on a regular basis, giving clinics and teaching as well.
