Past and Present Webzine is a music webzine that has been around since 1998. We've been reviewing all kinds of music. Everything that has been sent to us really! You can check out what we've written in the past at:www.geocitites.com/pastandpresent2001 & http://pastandpresent2.tripod.com.

Music:

Movies:

As something new Past and Present Webzine now also reviews movies. Don't expect all the newest movies, however. Just expect a new movie review every once in a while. Like, whenever I've been to the movies, whenever I've rented a movie and I actually bother writing about it or whatever. I can even post a review of something really, really old on here as well. Who knows? I sure as Hell don't!

Single Review: Pos-Neg - I'm A Problem (Pos-Neg Music)

After hearing lame American hip-hop for years, it's refreshing to hear something really catchy for once. The sad thing, however, is that even though these guys have got a good song here, they probably...

Album Review: E. Grizzly - Hip Hop Is Dead: The Mix Tape Vol. 1 (Self-released)

It's a good thing I am hearing less and less of American hip-hop, because, quite frankly, it has gotten to the point where it's just lame and kinda embarasing even. The title of this album hits i...

Album Review: Slough Feg - Hardworlder (Cruz Del Sur)

Like Widow (reviewed below), Slough Feg is another band signed to the Italian record-label Cruz Del Sur. And like Widow, Slough Feg are playing melodic metal, but instead of being all that hair-m...

Album Review: Widow - Nightlife (Cruz Del Sur)

The first track on Widow's third album, "Nightlife", is fucking great. It sounds like Motley Crue or something taken straight out of the 80's. Widow have definitely got that 80's hard rock and heavy m...

Album Review: Amaran's Plight - Voice In The Light (ProgRock Records)

Featuring present and previous members of Shadow Gallery, Spock's Beard, Royal Hunt and Silent Force, there should be no doubt about Amaran's Plight being a top-notch progressive metal act. At least o...

EP Review: Berna Park Hoten - A Wonderful Time (Just Forgot The Hat) - Self-released

Usually when I receive music from Italy, it's mostly either power metal or some other kind of metal music. But Berna Park Hotel don't have anything to do with metal. They play a refresh...

Here's a compilation with new age music from four different artists (Grundman, Gnomusy, Joaquin Taboada and Eduardo Laguillo). The music is taken from four different Non Profic Music releases and it s...

Single Review: Renee Zawawi - Happy Hour (Sapiens)

The first thing I have to say about Renee Zawawi is that she's very beautiful. She sent me a year-calender with mostly absolutely lovely pictures of herself... And then there's this single. Hmm, well,...

Album Review: Not For Capture - People (La Mante Productions)

It's not every day a french band sends me their CD for review, although it happens from time to time. For some reason these guys (and girls) must think that I understand french, since they sent m...
