Roadtrips in the Element, rockin' like a hurricane, being with my Wonder Twin and our furry kid, going to the coast, yoga, interior design, dancing, reading, playing Guitar Hero, daydreaming, long walks, going to concerts, visiting my peeps in LA, making all kinds of stuff - especially sewing stuff by hand or with my lovely sewing machine (Singer 7422, you are love!)
First off, let me point out that I have crappy slow dial-up service, because I live up in the mountains with the deer and the bears. Second, let me point out that my life does not revolve around the InterNetz, and that I'd rather spend my spare time making things or hanging out with my loved ones. Add those two points together, and you have someone who doesn't have much time to leave loads of comments or reply to lots of messages. So there you go - I don't hate ya and I'm not dissin' ya, I'm just being frugal with my InterNetz time. So, if you're down with that, if you live, eat, and breathe music, if you're open minded, and if you take being called weird as a compliment, you should be my friend. Yeah.
Who I don't want to meet: Dishonest and/or mean spirited peeps, users & abusers. Not the kind of people I enjoy being around, so if you're one of them, stay the hell away from me.

I love music more than anything else in the universe...
Bands that are near and dear to my heart:
Duran Duran, The Posies, The Cooper Temple Clause, Cheap Trick, Journey (Steve Perry era), Coldplay, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Nirvana, Soundgarden, The Pixies, Metal Skool, that dog, Janes Addiction, The Cure, U2, Love & Rockets/Tones On Tail, Morrissey/The Smiths, Mark Lanagen/Screaming Trees, The Ramones, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead.
..I love all kinds of music, but Brit Rock, Old School Goth, Indie and Garage are my true musical addictions. New Wave, Grunge, 80's Metal, and Classic Rock are my musical security blanket. And Fred on XM Radio is my station of choice.

On the TIVO list: The Simpsons, Family Guy, Decorating Cents, Design on a Dime, What's With That House, My Parents House, Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends, Mind of Mencia, Ax Men, The Henry Rollins Show, Mythbusters, Metalocalypse, Monday Night RAW. If I'm home on a Saturday night then it's PBS all night long for champagne music and old brit-coms. Now that we have High Def at home I'm watching loads of nerdy stuff on The Science Channel, History, Discovery, and Nat Geo, just because the picture is So Freaking Awesome. As for stuff no longer on the air: The Muppet Show, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Six Feet Under, The Powerpuff Girls. And I'll admit it, I totally miss The Love Boat.
Books:Anything by Stephen King (especially the Dark Tower series), anything by Ayn Rand, Travels with Charley, Edie, The Philosophy of Andy Warhol (From A to B and Back Again), Wonderland Avenue, Autobiography of a Yogi, Generation X, Grimms Fairy Tales, The Chronicles of Narnia, and any decorating, sewing, or craft related books/magazines I can get my hands on.
Comics: Preacher, Love and Rockets (and any L&R related spinoffs), The Invisibles, Watchmen, Gen 13, Ghost World, I Was 7 in 75. And yes, comic books are too books. It's in the name. Duh. :P
Anyone who has the balls to follow their dreams is my hero...
