Life is good.

I've got a great hubby, a beautiful son and a nice home. Theatre, travel and Cheap Trick are my favorite passtimes. I consider myself one lucky SOB (DOB?!) to get to partake of those things as often as I do.
I also have a one woman show about my struggle with and recovery from Bulimia called Hand to Mouth. I've performed at schools and universities across the US including Penn State, Emory and Colgate. You can check out the show's website here . Major updates to that (hopefully!) coming soon!
Your Language Arts Grade: 100% Way to go! You know not to trust the MS Grammar Check and you know "no" from "know." Now, go forth and spread the good word (or at least, the proper use of apostrophes).

Still Got It!

So tomorrow I'll be 39.  Yes, really.  I'm not worried about that almost 40 age.  Honest.  Nevertheless there are definitely moments that drive home the point that I'm not one of t...

Of Course, What I Really Wanna Do Is Direct

Last week, I returned to more familiar territory when I sang a couple songs for MAAS (Midland Area AIDS Support).  It's a local organization dedicated to AIDS education.  "Broadway in the Ba...

My Funny Valentine

How interesting.  MySpace doesn't have "love" as a category.  Hmmm... Anyway.  My point - and I do have one - is that as usual, Valentine's Day was another low key one this year.&...

Junk TV & the Fever Riddled Brain

Why do I love that line from Trading Places so very much?  Usually NYE bites the big one, but no matter what, I love it because it affords me the opportunity to scream "MERRY NEW YEAR!" a la Eddi...
