Now I've been smiling lately, thinking about the good things to come...

About Me

Myspace Layouts I was born on a rainy November night the year the Beatles broke up. My Dad is a musician so there was always music around which I am so thankful for. We moved around a lot when I was growing up.....across several small towns in Illinois and Missouri before finally settling in Texas in time for me to go to one high school. I was in choir and marching band--played piccolo and flute--and loved it. A life without music would be so empty! I've been married to my Lonnie man for 13 years. He is a Firefighter/Paramedic so I glom off his excitement since my job is not nearly as rewarding or exciting! Our three furry cat children just gained a new human baby brother on September 18th!! We like to go to concerts... ride our motorcycle....just have fun. I am so lucky to have Lonnie along with such great friends and family. Oh! I should mention my favorite band is Cheap Trick and I try to see them whenever I can.My LiveJournal site http://mandy933.livejournal.com/ was linked from Jeff K's DJ page for 93.3 The Bone and has concert reviews and other music-related thoughts.

Subterranean Homesick Blues

Buying a house and selling a house is a whole lotta stress!  I don't remember it being so stressful 13 1/2 years ago when we bought our house but we weren't trying to sell one at the same t...

Ill-i-noize Trip and More

I have got to get that T-shirt that says, "Illinois.  The S is silent, Bitch." haha  Lonnie always pronounces the S even though he knows it’s silent.  I think he does it just to bug me.  :) But ...

I don't think that's ever been more true than now.  Zander is 2 months old today!  It seems like yesterday we were at the hospital, but then again it's like we've always had him.  ...
