About Me

I am a recording engineer for Seventh Wave Studio.
I have mobile gear but I'm taking it out of commission for the time being.
FAQ's
What are your rates?
My day rate at Seventh Wave is $250 and my weekly rate is $1,000 (or $25/hr.) A day is: 10am to 6pm. Weekends, which include Saturday for tracking two songs and Sunday for mixing/mastering, are $750.
Can we just book one day?
Only if your goal is to have a 1 or 2 song demo. We are primarily a private production facility specializing in E.P.s and full-lengths.
What do we get for your rate?
You get a high-quality product, a relaxing recording environment, and access to any equipment we have at the studio. Also, a PS2, a 32" widescreen HDTV and DVD player, and you get to raid our fridge that we stock with your favorite beverages. We also make coffee for you!
Can I bring my own drum kit?
No. We have a DW Collector's Series kit for a reason. In order to ensure the best possible recording of your band, certain measures need to be taken. Having a studio drum kit is one. Tuning your instruments for you is another. Recording each part one at a time is another.
You can, however, bring any accent cymbals, or extra toms you might have. We have a drum tech (at a small extra charge) come in and tune your drum-heads to our kit for you.
Can we bring our own Amps?
Of course. While we do have a THD Univalve, a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, and a Marshall Plexi, we encourage you to bring any heads or combo amps you want to use. We also have an Orange 2x12 cab for use. Please note that bringing a bass cab is unnecessary, as we run bass direct through a high-end pre-amp/EQ.
