Born in Richmond VA, Cherish Marie Sheppard, 19 year old founder of Star Child Productions established in 2001, is this Millenniums first real musical genius.
After winning an Atlanta radio contest in 2002, she received rave reviews for her performance of original music and was the opening act for Nappy Roots, Naughty by Nature, Mario and Nivea. That same year she would go on to be named Community Showcase 2002's first place winner.

In February of 2006 she opened for Chris Brown in Portsmouth VA.,

In August 2006 she opened up for Mary J Blige, Jaheim & LaToya Luckett at he Verizon Amp Theater in Virginia Beach, VA.
Her studio projects include working with Davrielle a.k.a Tiffany of MTV's, Making The Band 3, upcoming star Alsia and the talented Shawn Stockman of Boys II Men as well as her Godfather and mentor Teddy Riley.
Cherish is certainly not the first "quad" threat, singer, rapper, writer and producer to hit the music scene, but she is perhaps the youngest female to be able to make this claim. Her love for writing and producing will keep her name in the mouths of artist for years to come.
In speaking with her mentor Stevie Wonder, Cherish asked, " How does it feel to be a Musical Genius?" in reply Mr. Wonder responded, " YOU TELL ME!"
