About Me

I'm a hip-hop and R&B DJ from Seattle, and I've been mixing for a few years now. I started by doing college and house parties, and have done a few club nights since. I also DJ'd for a dope underground hip-hop group in Los Angeles, Inverse, be on the lookout for them. While down in L.A. for school (Pomona-Pitzer, I see you), I was the hip-hop director for my college station, KSPC, and hosted a few shows each year I was there ("Beats, Rhymes, and Life" was my solo show, and I co-hosted "The Downlow" w/Kevin Sakoda...one of the longest running radio shows in Cali).
Nowadays, I'm up in Seattle where I work for the big hip-hop and R&B radio station, KUBE 93.3 FM, put out mixtapes, and DJ some clubs every now and then. I host a show on KUBE, "Sunday Night Sound Session" with J. Moore, every Sunday night at 10:45 PM (PST). We play breaking music from artists who aren't getting spins elsewhere, both local and nationally...nothing but DOPE music you probably haven't heard yet. It's the only outlet for underground hip-hop on KUBE.
You can listen to a live stream of KUBE anytime by clicking on the following link. Be sure to listen to me and J. Moore hosting "Sound Session," every Sunday night at 10:45 PM (Pacific Time).
If you're curious what we play, here's the latest Sound Session playlist and the download link(s):
