Texx Rap Black aka Taj Texx Walker Born in Bronx New York in the early eighties to his mother Pearl Bailey (Not thee Pearl Bailey) who was a child author who wrote several poems that was published in various circulating News Papers and later would be come a aspiring dancer and actor under a young director, producer, playwright name Titus Walker the father of Taj Walker. Titus walker has been a pioneer in Black Theater and has written over a dozen plays that deal with Heavy social and political issues .plays about the Apartide in Africa, The Harlem Rennisananse of 1920-1930s dealing with the evolution of black writers during that time. Walker also being responsible for pioneering the legacy of Malcolm X before the spike lees major motion picture. Titus Walker a student under Betty Shabazz in Merger Evers College. Betty Shabazz the widow of the late great activist referred to Walker as one of her sons. Titus walker continues with his activism with plays about Marcus Garvey, police brutality .and abortion being aimed at minorities to control black and Latino population. Walkers controversial work has lacked his mainstream appeal in Black Entertainment but however the saga continues with his son Tajmal Texx Walker who has been in every musical production with his dad since the young age of five and developed into a great actor and performer of a stream of musical numbers performed by his Familys theater company. Taj Texx walker being exposed to such progressive work lead him into his own writing, production and plays Rapping since twelve Texx walker had a natural take for the art form because of his stage theater experience. With the popularity of hip-hop and rap there was no running from the roots of what a young African American writer performer had the potential to be or create. Texx Walker has created few independent hip hop selections and albums. Like city lititaure a urban collection of rhythm and rhyme and the amazing Jazz Man a musical collection based on his fathers stage musical. Today Texx walker has introduce what may be his greatest collection ever entitled THE BLACKPOWER ALBUM returning to his familys roots to present a mix activism and art. With a college degree from Bronx New Yorks Monroe College Texx Walker is ready to exploit his new persona as Texx rap black and strength the black pride issue that is destroying African American in this country today.
