Next Gig
Any band that wants to play one of our gigs. Any one that wants to come along to gigs.
Any kind of music that cares to show it's face in the local area and on the Deadlegâ„¢ profile.
Jan 31st The Spin OffsGood old Glasgow bands! Simply for the reason that these guys are from Glasgow makes them worth seeing and being indie through and through means they don't fail to disappoint on the delivery of up beat dancing music. Cheers you right up.The New Rock ChemistsThe band formed in 2004 and have been writing music and gigging ever since then. They have a mellow sound that even the grumpiest of old men couldn't complain at, but they still know how to rock.Fulton's PointFulton's Point are a well known name in the old Dunfermline and plenty of people will flock to see them. These guys play and party hard and will never disappoint.
Feb 14th Billy LimerickBilly Limerick are no longer the new boy in town, after playing in Monty's on Jan 7th they have found themselves an appreciative crowd. They have a brilliant two man band setup, with acoustic giutar and hormonica by Billy and electric bass and glockenspiel by willy, but it doesnt mean they're Radiohead. To top it off they have a nicely written backing track and some sweet vocals. The Screamin OrchidsThese Kinross boys have been playing together for two years and have become a tight group that have developed their own sound. Looking forward to alot of gigs this year they are also playing Angry Mic's in Perth.Left Over StoryA four piece metal band from Lochgelly! All I've ever heard in Lochgelly is "bangin tunes". Damn Neds. But finally, Lochgelly has produced a musical talent in the form of Left Over Story. If these guys are as good as I've been told then there will be no left overs after this gig.MutleyAnother of those Glasgow bands invading Dunfermline, but this time it's in the form of punk. Playing together for four years has lead Mutley all over the UK, touring and gig swaping. It's gonna be a good gig.
Feb 21st We Shall Be BlessedUntil The Day BreaksPunchers ChanceStraight ShotNothing much to be said about the gig except, it's gonna be loud. Four bands who like to make noise and one venue that likes to hear it. We Shall Be Blessed have called themselves, "Scotlands answer to a stab in the balls". Until The Day Breaks are a 5 piece from stirling. But Straight Shot and Punchers Chance are the bands that have played the venue before and know exactly how wild the crowd can be. Definatley gonna be a good one.
