Omica

Omica are a 5 Piece metal/alternative band from Dunfermline formed in 2004 by Darren Phillips and Barry Duff. Since then the band has gone through several line up changes to get to where they are today, but have kept moving forward. all members share the same enjoyment in writing songs togeather and playing to a live audience, thats what it's all about!. each member has their own different influences they bring to the band that create their heavy yet melodic sound. The band have recently released their debut E.P and have been gigging around Dunfermline and have played their first show in Glasgow with more lined up for the future, So come along to one and have some fun!. With more gigs lined up and new songs in the making things are finally looking good for the band after the years of hard work and we couldn't be happier

Owen Duffy (Head of Puny Human Promotions) - OMICA combine influences including Pantera, Iron Maiden and Metallica to create the kind of sound that could fill a stadium. Anthemic metal at its best.
