THE BEGINING_
In the year nineteen hundred & ninety six,One Power™ emerged unto the underground from his mortal state of being.
Scott(the Inevitable) was kidnapped in the 6th month of '96 by a couple of bi-sexual females,& brought to a meeting place derived on halucinagenic paper.There is where he ran into an old friend who had moved out of the ol'country,in pursuit of a better way of living.Waiting for more participants to arrive,so they could be on their way to the festivities for the evening... they sat and marinated.Now mind you Scott not having any idea where he was headed,jumped into the automobile w/the females leading the way.This time going the opposite dirrection from wich they came,along w/ the glow on the dome finally starting to ignite(Begining the Lost&Found portion of the evening)They were said to have arrived around 10:30 pm @ a parking structure,next to a indoor hispanic shopping plaza on Soto St.* DownTown...LosAngeles,California.
As they waited in line,Scott wondered where the rumble/vibration under his feet was comming from in the carport?Slowly they made their way to the elevator where he saw the brightly dressed kids being escorted below, & realizing where the ROAR was comming from.Now inside the elevator&gently sinking,nothing but the sound of muffled blitzkrieg& giggles of excitement were to be heard. Creating the explosion of enormous endorphins inside his head(complimenting the synthetic communion already underway).The vibration in his scrotum before he actually entered the area was tremendous!Walking into ground zero,I remember him telling me later.....
''All I saw was a big group of people together,forming a force,a POWER not to be reconned with.''
His analogy of it was a scuffle on Loony Toons,bouncing together w/ arms and feet flying(or atleast the way it was looking).An anthem would begin to play,people who just sat down for a breather...would jump up and run back to the mob & engulf themselves in the sound.The dedication of these people was overwhelming.People climbing all over the wall of sound like children on a muc jammin out to a mixture of all forms of music that went great w/ his tastebuds aswell.To think of all this goin down from earlynight to latemorning,w/out any trace of law enforcement was amazing.Not to mention very influential.He then said to me...
''It presented a very cult-like atmosphere,and the patrons of this scene seemd to take it very much that way.Extremely motivated & seemingly loyal to the cause,Just for us!... -SM.''
Thus creating what we now know as... ONE POWER™!

One Power™ is the force that maintains the continuous motion of the Wheel of Time. It comes from the True Source, and it is separated into two halves: saidin (pronounced 'sah-ih-DIHN'), the male half, and saidar (pronounced 'sah-ih-DAHR'), the female half. It is used (like magic) by people who can wield it called channelers.
Not everyone has the ability to "channel", or access, the One Power™. Most have none at all, and some only have the ability to be taught, to one degree or another. But a few channelers are born with "the spark" -- an innate inclination that will lead them to touch the Source, whether they wish to or not. These wilders often die without ever gaining control over their innate ability; some research indicates the mortality rate for untrained channelers is 75% or more. Often, this survival comes with a price; they may not even know they are using the One Power™ to do things, they just know that sometimes, "things happen" when they want them badly enough. Wilders are also frequently saddled with a block -- an instinctive self-preservation behavior that causes them trouble when they do try to channel purposely. This can take the form of only being able to channel while angry, or only with one's eyes closed,perhaps even with music, or some other condition specific to the channeler. Those who do not have the spark can go their entire lives without touching the Power or even realizing they can.
Channelers are also not born equal--some are stronger in the Power and can handle more of it than others. Men and women are different in this and many other regards when it comes to the One Power™.
