I like laughing.
I like dancing.
I like yoga but only Ashtanga- Hatha is for pussies and Bikrams is for masochists. I giggle when I see purse dogs especially if they're wearing sweaters and belong to crazy asian ladies who shuffle their feet when they walk.
I like indie rock and old school house music, pink drinks, the color green, and anything Dave Eggers touches. I think I still like theatre (the jury is still out on this one). I like going to movies, karaoke at the legion, and section three (cause is reminds me of Calgary for some weird reason).
I like folk fests (but hate hippies).
I like reading, writing, getting out of my house, Mr. Winkle, sunshine, my bed, sleeping in, staying up late, modern dance- the more fucked up the better. When drinking wine I can only drink white just not Chardonay. I eat mostly veggie food- I only ate alligator once thanks to Suze. I prefer tea over coffee and sometimes not even tea. I don't drink pop (have you seen what that shit does to teeth?). I'd like it if you took me out for sushi.
I tend to fall for skinny boys with big hearts (usually broken and emotionally unavailable ones). Or star fucks. I like those too.
I'll probably turn this into a poem someday.
I'd like to meet:
People that can laugh at themselves. People that smile in photos. People that will give me money for being myself.
Music:
I'm all over the map. Let's just say right now I'm listening to a rotation of Ben Lee, Basment Jaxx, Lady Sov, Luke Doucet and that silly Snakes on a Plane song (ya still.... I'm ready for it).
Movies:
I've probably seen Wayne's World more than any other movie but most of that was during jr high or when I had a fever. My other favorite sick day movies are: The Breakfast Club, She's All That(I love you Freddie!) and Waiting for Guffman.I also like documentaries that make me cry and lose sleep over the state of our society.
Television:
I don't have time. But if I do I like the Colbert Report.
Books:
A Heart Breaking Work of Stagering Genius, Sex, Drugs and Coco Puffs, Teen Angst: A Celebration of Really Bad Poetry (shameless plug),
Currently Reading: The new Dave Eggers!!! What is the What?
