We oughtta have a war on this senseless condominium new car hell!

About Me

I'm sittin' on a windowsill
Blowin' my horn
Nobody's up except the moon and me
And a lazy ol' tomcat
On a midnight spree
All that you left me was a melody.

My Interests

SAVING THE WORLD... Other than that, I am a fan of pickin' on the gee-tar (this is sort of a new thing for me & very exciting), wailing on the trombone (King 3b, sir), listening to music, writing, morbid appalachian folk songs, humor, hootenannies, singing my heart out, fantasizing about sexy dobros, seeing the sun, seeing the sunrise, swearing, caffeine. Trying to be nice. Occasionally failing. Trying to make the most of every situation, especially if it involves Merle Travis tunes, bruised knees, and a puddle of spilt beer on someone's kitchen floor. Being aggressively open-minded. Coming up with weird marketing ideas, such as Cock Teas, a line of gourmet teas with a phallic theme. Etc.

I'd like to meet:

The ghost of Bill Hicks.

Folks who know how to turn 'taking the joke too far' into an art form,

Music lovers,

And anyone who howls at the moon.

Gary Davis, Professor Longhair, Furry Lewis, Sam Cooke, Queen Ida, Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, The Pogues, Hank Williams, Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, John Prine, Tom Waits, Louis Armstrong, 16 Horsepower, Mojo Nixon, Carl Perkins, and a list so long, you're more likely to be abducted by aliens than get to the end of it.

Movies:

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, The Big Lebowski, Ed Wood, Bonnie and Clyde, and Down By Law.

Books:

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Letters from the Earth, A Confederacy of Dunces, Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, Bayou Farewell: The Rich Life and Tragic Death of Louisiana's Cajun Coast, anything Bukowski, most Vonnegut, William Blake, William Faulkner, and Joseph Campbell. Also, nonfiction books on whatever happens to be my interest du jour, i.e. astrology, tarot, history, biology, and quantum physics.

Heroes:

My parents, Jesus Christ, Vishnu, Louis Armstrong, Professor Longhair, William Blake, John Hartford, Jimmie Rodgers, and Bill Hicks.
To see a world in a grain of sand
And heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.

My computer is making noises like it's about to explode. I've feared this day would come since my first taste of the internet in 7th grade. God help us.
