Mid East Records is in Independent Label, whose sole purpose for success is driven by Excellence; Excellence in Music, Performance, and Business. Mid East was established in order to help talented individuals get an opportunity to perfect and share with the world what they love most Their Music! Mid East Records was incorporated in Mitchellville, MD, July of 2006, by owners, Meredith Forbes & J. Long. The partenership between Forbes & Long began in August of 02 when they built Afterhours Recording, a fully digital recording studio, in Mitchellville, MD. When they began it was because they wanted to build a facility where they could provide quality music, sound, and top of the line equipment, for an affordable price. They had been so priveledged to start a company, there was no way they could not give back and try to provide others the same opportunity to accomplish their dreams. Afterhours would always be a place where people, who did not have the monetary means to go to a major studio, could come and still receive professional service and their product recorded in the manor in which they desired.
