VERSED

Versed to some Terry Duennes to others, started making his own music at the early age of 16. After having lessons for many years he started to venture away from his teaching and make his own arrangements of the music that he played in his lessons. With the encouragement of his teacher, Terry Duennes embarked on a humble beginning and introduction into electronic dance music. When he started going to clubs in his early years he was fascinated with the sounds of early Techno and House Anthems, this sound took hold of him and became his passion. Over the years, his music evolved and became a reflection of what he heard and what drove him to dance in the clubs that he ventured to every weekend. When promoters got wind of him they started asking him to perform at local parties held in the greater Cincinnati area. After playing for several years locally and nationally he decided to focus on his production and concentrate on studio work. Several years later he emerged as Versed (as in well versed!) with a vast repertoire and began to compile his many tracks into versatile DJ performances using new technology that allowed him to mix music of his own, oftentimes made or rearranged earlier that day. Terry Duennes also regularly works with others on co-production and is a highly respected studio pianist in many Cincinnati-based project studios. His musical talents include Drum and Bass which he is most known and respected for with DJ sets that are destined to liquify or destroy. In 2006 he was signed by Nu Urban Music (UK). Keep an eye out for his first upcoming releases.
However, Versed is not limited. He also has future House releases to come on the new and much respected label Lingo Recordings. In addition, his new Tech House material is under perusal of Germany’s best Tech House labels. He still regularly delves into the sounds of Downtempo with future digital releases through the forthcoming digital label Versedmusic to be cataloged by many of your favorite digital download sites. Beyond these dance genres he also produces Experimental, Atmospheric, and Cinematic sounds for Film and commercial license.
There is but one rule in his studio: there is no specific path that he needs to take.
