She started playing for elementary school parties at the age of ten and has been playing in and around Chicagoland ever since! From Retro 80's to House, High Energy to Progressive DJ Val's has a wide arsenal that she brings to the decks everytime she spins. Not limiting herself to the decks, DJ Val expanded her music knowledge by taking instrument classes, and reached out into other fine arts fields. Most notably DJ Val embarked on a graphics artist career. By day she is the head of the promotional advertising & graphics department for Hayes Beer Dist and by night she spins up Chicagolands finest High Energy, Progressive, House music.
