The group of Effigy was created in October 2004 and makes appearances with its actual structure since January 2006. Its members are Vangelis, Nikos, Konstantinos, Grigoris, Vaso and Mirto. Their sound has alternative/rock characteristics that approaches the jazz limits,while at the same time the instrumentations define a more progressive/avant-garde line. The Effigy have been presented in various live stages of Athens such as Rodeo Club, Club 22 (Summer In The City Festival 2005), Small Musical Theatre, An Club and Underworld (Summer In The City Festival 2006). At the present period of time the group is in the middle of the recordings for their second four tracked demo.
