Ariel Biography
Ariel was born in Woodland, CA in 1991 to Connie and Albert Valle. Her parents moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to Woodland, CA where Ariel was ground-rooted in the church. At a very young age, Ariel realized she had a gift and a calling for entertainment. Ariel would sing along with her family and congregation, as both parents were involved in music ministry. It was not long before Ariel, at a very young age, would star in her first lead singing role in the church Christmas play.
Growing up, Ariel continued to be influenced by the church. She also had some influence from her older brothers. They always rapped and beat-boxed motivating Ariel to sing hooks to their rhymes and rhythms. Ariel’s high spirited and animated personality constantly shined. No matter what she did you could always hear her soulful melodic singing flowing throughout the house. Some of Ariel’s influences include artists like, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Aretha Franklin, Beyonce, Chris Brown, and many others.
It was not until the age of 11 years old that Ariel decided singing would become her passion. One of Ariel’s first performances was at the Folklorico Dance Festival in Sacramento, California where she sang the National Anthem. As Ariel began to perform more frequently, she welcomed many opportunities to sing and perform in a variety of settings. Although hundreds of aspiring young artists participated, Ariel received a "call back" and was flown out to New York where she recorded on the Skate Dance project produced by David Musial. Skate Dance promoted an anti-drug and alcohol message. Ariel was able to share this message with many young students and children. While in New York, Ariel was especially privileged to perform at a camp for many of the kids who lost their parents in the 911 Tragedy.
In pursuit of her dreams, Ariel was relentless. As a dedicated young professional she auditioned and performed as much as possible for experience and exposure. For example, in 2003 Ariel ranked in the top 30 out of approximately five-hundred contestants for the American Junior Idols in Los Angeles, CA. Also, in a recent contest hosted by popular Bay Area radio station KMEL 106.1, Ariel was the final contestant selected for an exclusive L.A. getaway visit with Keyshia Cole.
