I'm a proud physics geek who likes to have as much fun as humanly possible. Let's see...I'm on my way to the University of Louisville this fall to start working on my MS in physics. Yay for new experiences! Although I'm sometimes quiet, I assure you I'm present--I just think too much for my own good. I'm learning to play the bass guitar so if you're in the area and you play bass let me know. I need lessons!

Experimental particle/nuclear astrophysics, atmospheric physics, high energy physics, the fusion of art and technology, the aesthetics of physics, teaching, learning, living, loving, the night sky.

Catcher in the Rye, the Dune series,Contact,A Brief History of Time, Surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!, What Do YOU Care What Other People Think?!, The Feynman Lectures on Physics, the old school Garfield comic books--I have like 20 of them.

Heroes:

Bill Hicks and I guess Richard Feynman. He certainly loved physics, but he loved so many other things as well. He makes me want to learn to play the bongos.

wow. i don't think it possible that i could have been more wrong about my projected GRE scores. wow wow wow was i wrong. this of course is causing much turmoil in my life and my application process....

relaxing

so it's over. the horrific physics subject GRE is fucking OVER! i don't think i rocked it--but my score WILL be decent this time. i'm guessing around a 55-60th percentile which is pretty damn perfect...
