The Show! began airing on Power 96.5 WQHH in late July 2006. The main attraction...it's the only time listeners could hear their favorite Hip-Hop and R&B on Sundays from 12-5pm.
Now...The Show! is moving to Saturday nights and along with the new move comes some new changes. Hosted by Genesis ("G" for short), a recent graduate from MSU by way of the metro Detroit area. The 22-year-old is known for his outgoing personaltiy and humorous nature. When not taking care of all you music needs on WQHH you can find him playing b-ball, watching his favorite television shows and kickin' it.
Reflecting G's personality, The Show! is energetic and breathes live into the airwaves on Saturday Nights. The format is no different from what you hear throughout the week on 96.5 WQHH, nothing but the best in Hip-Hop and R&B.
Make sure to catch the "Classic Verse from Hip-Hop History" where Genesis recites your favorite hits with a classical touch. At midnight, DJ Beat Banga hits the 1's and 2's and gets you hype with The Show! Mix-Up. And make sure you listen all show long for Exclusive tracks never heard before and your chance to win prizes!!
