From the Dustjacket:

After the freakish death of famous novelist Woodie Stuart, the literary world shrugs its shoulders. After all, Woodie was drinking, consorting with a woman who wasn’t his wife, and sailing in waters prowled by pirates. He got what he deserved, right?

But when more bestselling novelists are murdered, a strange thing occurs. The authors’ first-edition books appear on online auction sights, garnering a fortune for some lucky individual. Palm Springs rare-book dealer Xanthe Anthony watches the events with interest but is a little disconcerted when he becomes a prime suspect.

When Anthony is arrested and jailed on suspicion of murder, he knows it’s going to take a lot more than smooth talking to get him out of this one. He asks his friend Milo, an Internet hacker, to help him track down the real murderer. But as the body count continues to rise, Anthony has to act fast if he is to escape the net of justice slowly closing around him …

Pubishers Review:

With this extraordinary first volume in what promises to be a Biblio-Thriller masterpiece, Eric Meeks hacks into the world of literati and their followers, the unspoken aspirations of men and the golden age of the internet.

In 1995, the book world was rocketed as cyber-space revamped the way business was done. The web giants of Amazon and eBay masked a new technology over the world of mom and pop bookstores as one of their own decided to leap into a foray of deep dark passions of guile and commerce.

Xanthe Anthony, owner of CelebrityBooks.com is mistakenly accused of being involved with the grisly deaths and bountiful harvests which selling the signed works of dead authors provides. He must find the killer and clear his good name before the next author signs his final book.

Music:

Top 50, always adding to the list. The 1980's were my era so I still love all that stuff but modern sounds really are great. I hope I never grow out of the music of today and tomorrow.

Movies:

Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Mystery and Horror just like my books. For the last three Star Wars movies I spent the night in front of the movie theatre in my hometown with my kids. I go to a lot of midnight movies whenever there's a really big blockbuster coming out.

Television:

Lost needs to get found but I still love it. HEROES is a great series. And for some reason I really associate with the sitcoms about middle age guys, slightly overweight, with quirky kids and wife that always give him a hard time but really really love each other. Desperate Housewives and Sex in the City has a certain appeal to them also.

Books:

Stephen King: The Stand, Eyes of the Dragon, The Gunslinger Series.

Terry Pratchett: Discworld Series.

Gary Jennings: Aztec, The Journeyor and The Wanderer.

Isaac Asimov: The Foundation Series and his Robot Series.
