I joined Choice fm 2 years ago producing Dave P's Positive Inspirations Sunday morning gospel show, then became co-presenter. I'm now working on a new TV project, this going to be an exciting challenge for gospel in the UK..(Details coming soon),I will keep you posted.Started as a DJ in 1989, at that time was working at a local commercial radio station. That’s when she first discovered my love for radio. Soon after in 1990 joined Hospital radio.Trained there for 11 years, starting on a magazine style news programme and then moving on to my own specialist music show playing soul, jazz, and funk. Bringing in, as well as going out to interview favourite well-known artists. The legendary soul artist Roy Ayres, renowned gospel artist Andréa Crouch and Ron Kenoly from the US as well as Noel Robinson, one of the UK’s favourite worship leaders, were just some of the people she interviewed. I love people, even when they’re not well known, everyone has a story to tell. Utilizing my music and editing skills i became Head of Production. I used to play out regularly at clubs, pubs and parties. From a very young age, i had a record player and would play records to friends as well as record interviews. I'm passionate about music and heavily influenced in the 80’s by dance and soul music, using piano/keyboard skills i learnt to produce music and loved to have jam sessions with musical friends. This became a hobby for about four years. I discovered gospel music after moving to London in 1995, where i joined a gospel singing workshop. Soon after became a Christian. I have been in various groups as a singer and now mainly sings in the praise and worship team in her local church.I spent my career in the media working for magazines, newspapers, commercial radio, TV production and PR. Eventually I would like to be involved in music full time as I believe music is a powerful tool, I also would love to hear inspirational music having positive affect and influence on our society.
