In 1998, 4 Funkymen meet to form a Acid-Jazz band which is transformed quickly in a Groove' Funk band. The constant evolution enables them to integrate some brass, some saxophones, a horn with neutral electrons and a trombonist who tears the galaxy spaciale universe (and it is tall the universe) which goes to follow them during a lot of concerts.
Finally in 2004 the nostalgia of the beginnings pushed to return to the original formation, where they will draw their concentrated force: THE FUNK MARCUS mix all the facets of the FUNK in its compositions taken along by its 4 musicians. On a bottom of Drum & bass they mix their influences Groove'n'Funk, Hard Funk, Jazz-Rock, Acid-Jazz, Disco; Taken along by the clear song of MARCUS and its texts in French who tells stories on the life, and the dreams.The FUNK of MARCUS is there, hot and powerful, the keyboards fly away in a multitude of sounds and the guitar howls its presence in solos fulgu'érico'FUNK.
