Si on est potes, je posterai avec plaisir une quelconque pub vous concernant dans mes photos avec un tag sur votre page, ce sera je pense plus utile...
I am involved in many different projects, which are described below
SOLO STUFF
Not so much to tell, just have a quick listen to my music.
Love it (let me know if it’s the case) or Hate it (send any insults to
[email protected])
BAND STUFF
I write beats and vocals for a band called… Motionless.
I started this project on my own and was joined by the other musicians in several steps. Motionless was first my « artist » name. I decided to change my name when Motionless started to be recognized here as a band, and kept motionless in it as I had started other projects under the Motionless name…
The band is composed of
FX Cumin aka DJ Fis.Kuik: cuts
David Monet aka Dada Momo: fender rhodes, miniKorg and back vocals
Jerome Fouquet aka Guizmo: trumpet and bass guitar
Cyril Dejancourt aka VJ Snug Box: Veejaying
And me Pierre Debrouwer aka PTM : beats and lead vocals
« BEATMAKING/RAPPING FOR OTHERS » STUFF
I have made beats FOR Andrre (CAN), Ira Lee (CAN), Astronautalis (USA), James P Honey (UK), MC Homeless (USA), Swordplay (USA), Saarpreme (DE), and am working on many other collabs…
I have made beats WITH Soso (CAN) and E-Phone (FR)
I have an EP project with Sukoline (FR) and Zoen (FR). Suko will make the beats (and he’s so good at it…) and Zoen and myself will rap on it.

One solo song and two collabs with Andrre can be found on the awesome

FACE A / FACE B
The song that we made with E-Phone appears on the free compilation released by MonsterK7, a french label promoting the use of the old AUDIO tapes.
This song was originally a remix of a track from E-Phone but was finally released under the « E-Phone & Pierre the Motionless » name as E-Phone decided to give up the original one.
This compilation features two « sides » of 15 tracks each. Side A is dedicated to electro stuff, and Side B is dedicated to Folk stuff. All featured artists are french.

TO BE RELEASED
I am actually working on an album with Andrre which should be a wonderful piece. I am working on beats which are a mixture of hip-hop, folk and low-fi pop, and Andrre sings as much as he raps on them. The first results are really promising. This album will feature so many good rappers that I cannot believe it myself. You’ll learn more about it soon…
We are supposed to work on a EP with Ira Lee. I have been involved in so many projects these last weeks that I have not worked on this as much as I should have, but this will definately come out some day, and will blow your ears…
Motionless’ album should be out in the first half of 2008.
We will start recording it in the coming weeks, and are not able to give you a real idea of what it will sound as it is much more complicated to record live instruments than virtual ones. I promise it will be good, that’s all.
Last but not least, my solo album is under progress, I hope to get it ready within the first half of 2008, I will keep you all updated
I plan posting a flash music player with many of my collabs in a blog entry soon, keep an eye on my page to be sure not to miss it.
Much love to you all
