Hola, soy Charlene, and I'm a baby freelance makeup artist from south San Diego. I graduated from the Joe Blasco Makeup School in Hollywood. I completed the Professional Makeup Artistry and Advanced Prosthetics.
I'm also a licensed Cosmetologist, but makeup artistry is my passion and strength. Maybe I'll come back to hair, who knows. I've been working as a freelance makeup artist for two years now. Though, I'm still learning and not as experienced as the big dogs, I love to learn new things, I'm a perfectionist, and I always give it my all.
I'm very versatile, I'm not limited to one type of look. I can do glamour, avant garde, character, and special fx. From glamour girls to zombies i love it all. I got tons of ideas that I lose sleep over and am dying to do. Also, if you have any ideas or suggestions, let me know. Plus, I'm friendly and just like to have a good time.
I'm here to build up my portfolio and experience. I am willing to TFP or TFCD, but a kit fee is included. That fee mostly depends on what type of makeup look, how many models, and location. But we can work something out, don't be afraid to ask. If you're a client, contact me for rates. For the most part I'm pretty decently priced and available, BUT PLEASE let me know ahead of time.
