I am interested in music, mixing martinis with my own personal recipes, being very social or the life of the party if you may, singing karaoke, writing my own music and lyrics, spending QT with my two "goons" Wesley and Dexter (my little Doxies), watching movies (mostly DVD, since I rarely will go out to see a flick), dining out, driving down the coast in my M convertible on a beautiful day with the top down of course, love both California Adventure & Disneyland(used to work in New Orleans Square there as a pastel portrait artisit),creating great parties with cool themes, and being very organized at almost everything I do.Madonna - Jump

I am looking to meet new people and potential friends to establish great relations with. A good man or person for that matter is hard to find. This is an awesome website for doing this and besides, why not have a blast getting to know all sorts of people? The world is a big place, and there are so many great people to know out there. The way I see it, life is too short, so what are you waiting for? Write to me! :-)!!!Madonna

I love all sorts of music. Being a graduate with a special degree in Fine Arts, I have experienced music from all angles. I also grew up surrounded by music with my two sisters as my mentors. One sang in her own 70's & 80's top 40's band and the other wrote all original plus sang cover songs to her guitar. In high school I think I joined every musical group there was to join, including barbershop quartet. I went on to college and singing there in choral leagues as well and taking up piano. Shortly after joining junior college, I landed my first all original band which was later called London Issue. The band started off being myself as lead vocalist and songwriter, as well as a keyboardist and synth drummer. We classified ourselves as gloom alternative and our sound was a combination of The Smiths, Soft Cell, and New Order with shades of Erasure and Depeche Mode. We played all over Orange and L.A. County and had our first debut performance at The Roxy Theatre in Hollywoood. The band went on to play other venues and we even established our own following through KROQ Radio, who played a song of our, "Still the Same", pushed by The Swedish Eagle. By the end of the 80's, the spark of London Issue slowly faded out and a new project was ignited, called "HYPE!" This project was completely different than "The Issue", and we marketed more of a top 40 R & B flare to us, which really gained us attention and media coverage. Our sound was generated by influences such as George Michael, Lisa Stansfield, Barry White, Breathe and Elton John, to name a few. HYPE! was had 3 separate reviews on shows in the Orange County Register in the HEAR! part of the Calendar section. We also went to open up for such greats acts as Jody Watley ( Looking for a New Love), Evelyn 'Champagne" King (Love Come Down & Shame), Black Box (Everybody, Everybody & Strike it Up) & CeCe Peniston (Finally, It Has Happened to Me), and we even were the entertainment provided to an election rally held for Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez. Hype! also added a female vocalist, Judy Gish, who brought much sultry and sexiness to the band as well as complimenting the sound quite nicely. Eventually, the group ended up hiring on a percussionist and sax player for not only just studio tracks but for live shows as well. Hype! stayed together going strong until just before 2000. Today, I am still songwriting and singing karaoke or doing a song or two at the local piano bar when the opportunity prevails, and some day would still like to be able to get back up on a real stage and perform for the masses again.

My biggest hero would have to be my high school teacher, Mister Button, who showed me everything there was to know about English and Journalism and taught to his class to never give up in believing in yourself or giving up the faith. He was truly my mentor and I will always look up to him...He was my idol all through my high school years. Oh yeah, and I think I had this tiny little crush on him too by the way. He looked like a Hollywood hunk from the 50's and resembled Rod Taylor & Robin Williams (when he was in the movie "Good Morning Vietnam"). Guess I kind of left that little secret out, huh? Mr. Button, if you're out there....I love you! You're the GREATEST!!!
Now, as far a media-hero/heroine goes, it would be hands down Madonna! Guess you couldn't have guessed or seen that one coming could ya'? She is still going strong after being in the biz for over a decade and continues to keep putting out hit single after hit single while always surprising society with another new look. For me, she will always and forever be my lady of love as I will adore her and the music she markets for many years to come :)!
