Michael London aka Dj Shadow started DJ'ing over in Germany doing DYA dances and NCO clubs. Michael started his radio career by interning at Magic 95 and got his first airshift doing overnights at WXVI in Montgomery, Alabama. He has worked for a number of radio stations in various job positions such as OM, PD, MD, mix-show dj, morning show co-host, to evening drive jock.
In 1990, Michael started his own entertainment company called
Southern Network Association (S.N.A.),
which included a record pool, production company, studio, and promotion company.
S.N.A. Record Pool serviced the top DJ's in the state of Alabama.
S.N.A. Promotions did indie and street promotions for such labels as Universal, Deathrow, Columbia, Island, Rap-a-Lot, Laface, MCA, Tommy Boy, Interscope,
promoting such artist as Prince, Goodie Mob, Eightball & MJG, Nelly, Mary J. Blige, Gucci Mane, Pharcyde, Dem Franchize boyz, Blackstreet, kilo, The Roots, Dr. Dre just to name a few.
S.N.A. Production was a full digital production studio and ad agency. Some of our more noteworthy clients have been the Democratic party, Alabama State government, Visa and Mastercard, and various radio stations in the Southeast.
Michael also open his first soundscan retail store called London Music in 2002.
Michael retired from S.N.A. in 2004 and became Operational Manager for WBFZ radio in Selma, Alabama.
In October 2006, Michael became the Chief Operational Officer for Longmoney Entertainment Music group handling the day-to-day operations for the recording studio,the record label, and concert promotions.
