Sean Hollis graduated from Leeds College of Music in 2003 with a BA (Hons) in Jazz Studies. He studied trumpet with Simon Barnes and played in the Al Wood Big Band for three years. Since leaving college he has worked in many musical settings and with many artists doing live work and recording sessions.

The National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Al Wood Big Band, Doncaster Jazz Ochestra, Northern Jazz Orchestra, Northern Swing Orchestra, Steve Parrys Big Band From Hell, Nick Ross Orcherstra and Andy Prior Big Band.
