Im a trumpet player based in Leeds where i graduated at Leeds college of music.I studied with Simon Barnes and won the Tolson prise for Brass. Since graduating I have worked with many of the UKs finest jazz musicians including Al Wood, Alan Barnes, Dennis Rollins, Mark Nightingale Gerard Presencer and Peter King. I was a member of Bobby Shews All-star Big Band on the occasion of the American stars last UK visit. I have also played at Ronnie Scotts for the Duke Ellington Society annual meeting. Ive performed with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Doncaster Jazz Orchestra, the Al Wood Big Band, the Andy Prior orchestra, Pete Cater Big band, Mark Gillbanks Big band, Glenn Miller orchestra (Ray Mcvay), The Rat pack, Serpentine Fire (earth wind and fire tribute), One night with Elvis, Colin Byrne big band, Steve Parry's big band from hell and work regularly with many jazz groups across the north of England. I recently was involved in David Gest's New years eve weekend soul show as part of the Horn section.The show included many great motown singers, such as Deniece Williams, Billy Paul, Russell Thompkins Jr and the New stylistics, Bonnie Tyler, William Bell, Freda Payne, Peabo Bryson, Carl Carlton and Martha Reeves and the Vandella's. Earlier last year i also toured with Candi Staton. Theatre show work includes The Official tribute to the Blues Brothers, Guys and Dolls, West Side Story, Oliver, La cage aux folles, Cinderella, The Wiz!, Anything goes, 42nd street, The boyfriend.
